Q&A with Nicki!

Tell us about yourself: I am very adventurous when it comes to designing. I love to explore the limitations with my machine and the material available. My business partner and I own Two Chicks & a Trailer LLC. We also run a group on Facebook to help other makers expand and grow. (Glowforge Artisans and Entrepreneurs) Our goal is to share the knowledge we have learned. We are very faith oriented in our lives as well as our business.

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? Outgoing, Proactive, Honest

What is your favorite type of material to work with and why? Wood- from MDF to Specialties because it is versatile and can be manipulated with color, texture, and more.

What is a project you are proud of and why? Macrame Baby Milestones because this file was a special request from one of our group members and definitely a learning curve for us.

What do you do to get in the crafting zone? Crafting is my vacation from the world. I have a shop where I can just relax and focus on the crafts versus what's happening outside the door in the world. 

Who inspires you and why? My family 100%. They support me in all my wild and crazy ideas. Well most of the time anyways...

What is your favorite thing to do outside of crafting? I am an avid hunter and fisher, I also love canning homegoods.
