12x19 inches**All materials are advertised at 12x19 inches. There is some variation though due to the manufacturing and cutting process that can result in pieces being narrower in some cases. We will not send out boards less than 11.75 inches, but in particular Cracked Crystal and some other patter acrylics have special molds that are used to create the pattern. There is also some trimming of edges to avoid inconsistent patterns. This sometimes results in pieces being as narrow as 11.75 inches. If your project requires the full 12 inches, please make the order then email us at info@craftcloset.com and we will specifically pick acrylics that meet your requirements. If you ever receive an acrylic that does not meet you needs, contact us and we will correct the problem. Thank you for understanding the variation.

 

Features:

  • Acrylics: 1/8" thick (3mm) acrylic. Excellent optical properties, light weight and stronger than glass.
  • COLORboard: COLORboard is laser safe; it is a heat and pressure applied color application to 1/8" MDF.
  • COLORflex: Like COLORboard, COLORflex is laser safe. It is a heat and pressure applied color application to 100% cotton.
  • Wood Veneer: Our wood veneers are paper backed to add consistency of grain match and smooth finish. They are not “raw” veneers. Each veneer is packaged with a double masked 3M 467MP adhesive sheet also measuring 12x20 inches. 
  • Melamine: Melamine is a veneer that overlays MDF, just like our double sided materials. The difference is that melamine is pre-finished. 
  • Wood: All of our wood has an MDF core (except for the Baltic Birch), because of the MDF core rather than plywood layers, this provides consistent density, without voids and spaces and perfect for CNC and laser cutting and engraving with Glowforge, Mophorn, Epilog, Orion, Mira. All of our wood is unfinished. 
  • Faux Leather: Mocha Crocodile is a laser safe faux leather which has a thickness of 1.1mm. It has a very deep crocodile hide pattern to offer the most textured contrast. Mocha Crocodile will add interesting texture to any project.
  • Shell Veneer: Includes a sheet of 3M brand adhesive backing that is also 9.5" by 5.5". The most common uses are for jewelry inlay, box inlay, guitar and musical instrument inlay, creative maker projects, shell nail art and handicrafts.
