"When we started brainstorming this collection, I spoke with Kris about doing some holiday themed COLORboards.. When thinking about the spring and all that we celebrate, I couldn’t decide between creating an Easter or Mother’s Day design. I decided to go with a fun floral design that was a bit more simplified than my other COLORboards. I went with polka dots and pastels because that’s what dyeing Easter eggs makes me think of, and I added the flowers because all the moms in my life love getting flowers for Mother’s Day! I love that it fits both holidays but is still versatile enough that it could be used for products year round. It also gives off a younger vibe than some of my other designs and I love that it can appeal to all ages.
I think it turned out SO cute, and I can’t wait to make some adorable Easter door hangers and basket tags with this print!"
