Please note, for white and black, this material is in the “melamine” section but is not actually melamine.  But if you have used melamine before, you will find it very comparable.  However there is a gloss finish on this material, where the melamine is more of a matte finish.   We custom created the material using MDF from New Zealand which we have found to be a very consistent, clean cut.  We finish it with a durable smooth coating.  It is scratch resistant, easy clean up of burn marks and engraves like a dream.  If you like white melamine, you will love this material.
