Our Unfinished Baltic Birch Plywood brings the same nearly void-free, cross-laminated construction as our finished line — available in B/BB and Hand Selected grades — without the pre-applied surface coat. For makers who want full control over how their finished pieces look and feel, this is the starting point.

Custom stains, hand-applied oils, reactive finishes, painted effects — unfinished Baltic Birch accepts them all cleanly and consistently, with the structural integrity and laser performance you expect from a premium plywood core. The tight, even grain of Baltic Birch means your finish goes on evenly without the blotching that softer, more porous woods can produce.

B/BB Grade — A smooth face with the possibility of a patch on the reverse side and some natural variation. Reliable and consistent for production cutting and everyday laser work.

Hand Selected Grade — Held to the highest standard we can source — virtually blemish-free on both faces for makers who demand the cleanest possible canvas for their custom finish.

Available in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness across 12x12", 12x19", and 16x24" — compatible with both CO2 and diode laser cutters. The 16x24" size serves larger format machines that standard laser supply sources rarely accommodate.
