Baltic Birch has earned its reputation in the laser crafting community for good reason — consistent layers, minimal voids, and clean cuts that hold fine detail beautifully. Our Finished Baltic Birch takes that trusted foundation and adds a pre-finished surface applied in-house, so you go straight from unboxing to laser bed without sanding, sealing, or any prep work.

Available in two grades to suit your project and your standards:

B/BB Grade — A smooth, finished face with the possibility of a patch on the reverse side and some natural variation. Reliable, consistent, and excellent value for production cutting and everyday laser work.

Hand Selected Grade — Virtually blemish-free on both faces, hand selected for makers who demand the cleanest possible surface for their finished pieces. Not always technically B/B, but held to the highest standard we can source.

Both grades are available in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness across three sizes — 12x12", 12x19", and 16x24" — making this one of the few laser wood collections sized for larger format machines like the xTool P2 and comparable CO2 cutters. Compatible with both CO2 and diode lasers across all sizes.
