Why are they PIG PACKS?

Specialty acrylics like colorwaves and pearlescents are made with fluid, layered processes — some randomness is built into the design by nature, not by mistake. A Pig Pack sheet is one where that randomness landed outside the "typical" range for that pattern — more concentrated in one area, a color ratio that skews differently than usual, waves that are bigger or smaller than the standard look. It's not defective, it's just an outlier of a process that's supposed to vary.

• Emerald Tide Pearlescent: "The pearlescent shimmer and color depth can vary sheet to sheet — these ones landed with a stronger or more uneven shimmer gradient than our standard consistency allows, but the finish quality is unaffected."
• Hydra Scales: "This scale-effect pattern has natural variation in scale size and spacing — these sheets have a wider swing in that texture than we typically ship, giving them a bolder, more irregular scale look."
• Moon Flower Colorwave: "Colorwave sheets are made with fluid color movement, so ratio and wave size always shift a bit — these sheets pulled a color ratio or wave pattern further from center than our normal range, but they're full quality, just more dramatic/unique."
