Tell us something interesting about yourself: Hello, my name is Jennifer and I absolutely love drawing and have a passion for art. I always wanted to be an artist since I was little and I had an art minor in college. I also knew I wanted to work in a field where I could help others. I work full time as a speech pathologist and love working with children with special needs. Being able to design files brings the best of both worlds in my life. Designing is a passion and brings so much happiness in my life. I really enjoy sharing my art with others and seeing the joy it brings is such a great reward.
What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? Creative, helpful, grateful
What is your favorite type of material to work with and why?1/8” iridescent acrylic because of the way it color shifts and how beautiful it looks when you engrave it
What is a project you are proud of and why? A project I’m really proud of is my 3D star file. I’m most excited about this file because of the excitement and feedback I’ve received from customers who have shared their projects and stories with me. The great success my customers have had from something I created brings so much joy to me.
What inspired this file? My father served in the Marines and at the moment he is dying from stage 4 lung cancer and I made that file to honor him.
What do you do to get in the zone for crafting? My best friend and neighbor and I listen to some music and brainstorm ideas together late into the night.
Who inspires you and why? My family. Most of my files are inspired by family vacations and times we spent together. When I look at each file it takes me back to each specific moment that inspired it.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of crafting? I make wine as a hobby, which inspired my shop name Winetopia.
