Q&A With Pat L!

Hello I am Pat Lewis creator, designer and owner of Pat Lewis Designs LLC. My company was birthed to provide creations to my customers that create confidence and joy. I LOVE HAPPY CUSTOMERS and want them to shop and experience THE ULTIMATE HANDCRAFTED EXPERIENCE! I want my customers to know that if they can dream it, let’s make it!

Tell us something interesting about yourself: I LOVE gadgets!!!!! I love to create and explore and learn new skills!!!! I started crafting first intending to scrapbook then it grew from there. I purchased a Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine, when these were not popular and trendy like cutting machines are now and then no one know knew what a cutting was, in which I still own and then a Cricut…and now I own about ALL the machines..lol!!! Every machine and/or device brings a different enhancement to my creativity. Now let’s talk about the GlowForge. I’ve been wanting this device FOREVER and during the pandemic, I TOOK A JUMP! Actually, I took a lot of JUMPS including “officially” starting my own business. The GlowForge took my creations and creativity to another level!
What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? I would describe myself as kind, friendly, innovative and a “go getter”.
What is your favorite type of material to work with and why? I really can’t pen it down to my favorite material to work with because I LOVE ALL THE THINGS…lol equally. But I will say at first, I thought it was working with acrylic, but now I have a new found love with wood. I love to hand paint, stain and you name it to my wood creations!!!
What is a project you are proud of and why? My most proud project is creating a jewelry case to house ALL of my BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS handcrafted designed jewelry that I designed in Silhouette and cut on my GlowForge! However, I am most proud of my Champagne Glass File!!! The new year and an opportunity to a fresh start and celebration inspired this file. It’s hard to choose on project so I added a few more of my favorites! I LOVE the Double Hoop Coiled Earrings I created using Craft Closet’s Fuchsia Azure Fusion Glitz Acrylic!!! I also added coiled caps to give it a little extra pizzazz as the material alone is STUNNING!! These files are available on our Pat Lewis Designs website.

Who inspires you and why? God inspires me and appreciating the world’s beauty also inspires me to craft and know that there are so many creative possibilities and how my God given gifts can inspire someone to feel really good about themselves!
What is your favorite thing to do outside of crafting? Wow! I have so many favorite things to do!....lol I enjoy singing, reading, watching TV, eating…the list goes on!!!
Is there anything else you would like to share with us? I LOVE! LOVE! The Craft Closet!!!! I have been in love with them since the first day I was introduced and discovered them!!!! The customer service is IMPECCABLE!! The quality of products cannot be compared to any other!!!! They GOT ME!!!! Being a Craft Closet Club Member is an additional bonus! I LOVE IT!!!!
